Job summary

Amteck, a national electrical design-build contractor, is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to service electrical systems in industrial environments. Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial electrical installations.
• Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies aligned with industry standards.
• High proficiency using electrical tools, diagnostic instruments, and testing equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing in accordance with NFPA 70B, OEM specifications, and NETA standards.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify abnormal heat signatures and potential faults.
• Complete visual inspections of electrical components, wiring, and connections for wear or damage.
• Clean, lubricate, and service electrical equipment to ensure performance and longevity.
• Perform electrical testing on power distribution systems, control equipment, and motors.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, test results, corrective actions, and recommendations.
