Job summary

Amteck, a national electrical design-build contractor, is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to ensure downtime is minimized and operations stay safe and efficient. You will service power distribution equipment, motors, and controls in industrial settings, following NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.

The role requires hands-on electrical maintenance expertise, strong safety focus, and the ability to travel as needed to sites across industries such as manufacturing and processing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial installations.
• Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
• Infrared thermography to identify abnormal heat and faults.
• Visual inspections of electrical components and connections for wear or damage.
• Clean, lubricate, and service electrical equipment for reliability.
• Test power distribution systems, control equipment, and motors for proper function.
• Assess equipment condition and operating environments for risks and improvements.
• Apply LOTO, arc-flash awareness, and review arc-flash studies.
