Job summary

Amteck is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial settings. You will ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards while maintaining reliability and safety of facility electrical infrastructure.

You will service power distribution equipment, motors, controls, and related components, conduct infrared thermography, and document findings and actions to support uptime

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance environments.
• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to NFPA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify abnormal heat and faults.
• Complete visual inspections of components, wiring, and connections for wear or damage.
• Clean, lubricate, and service electrical equipment to ensure performance and longevity.
• Test power distribution systems, control equipment, and motors for proper function.
• Assess equipment condition and operating environments to identify risks.
• Apply safety procedures including LOTO and arc-flash awareness.
• Support EHS initiatives and promote safe work practices.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, results, and actions.
• Proactively identify issues to minimize downtime and costs.
• Communicate findings to customers, supervisors, and team members.
• Enforce site safety requirements and continuous safe-work practices.
