Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. The role focuses on reliability, safety, and uptime by servicing power distribution equipment, motors, and controls in accordance with NFPA 70B and NETA standards.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with electrical testing, infrared thermography, and strict safety practices.

Qualifications

5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance preferred.
Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution and installations.
Proficient with preventive maintenance strategies and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs and NETA.
Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults.
Inspect components, wiring, and connections for wear or damage.
Service electrical equipment to ensure reliability and longevity.
Test power distribution systems, controls and motors for proper function.
Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, tests, and actions.
Communicate findings clearly with customers and teammates.
Uphold company safety programs and site-specific requirements.
