Job summary

Amteck is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. You will ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards while supporting uptime and safe operations.

The role requires strong electrical knowledge, experience with power distribution and motors, and proficient documentation of testing and repairs.

Qualifications

5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of NFPA 70B, NEC, OSHA/NFPA 70E safety.
Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
Proven preventive maintenance strategy experience.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and testing of electrical systems per NFPA 70B and NETA.
Conduct infrared thermography to detect faults and heat anomalies.
Inspect wiring, components, and connections for wear or damage.
Service power distribution equipment, motors, and controls.
Document inspections, actions, and recommendations clearly.
Maintain safety programs including LOTO and arc-flash awareness.
Collaborate with customers and team members; uphold reliability and safety.
Travel as needed to customer sites or facilities up to 100%.
