Job summary

Amteck is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of electrical systems in industrial settings. You will ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specifications, and NETA standards while supporting uptime and safety across facilities.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance, strong electrical theory knowledge, and proficiency with diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Five-plus years in industrial electrical maintenance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory, power distribution and installations.
• Experience developing preventive maintenance strategies.
• Proficient with diagnostic instruments and testing equipment.
• Familiar with NFPA 70B, NFPA 70E, NEC and OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B and OEM specs.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults.
• Inspect wiring and components for wear or damage.
• Service power distribution equipment, motors, and controls.
• Maintain documentation of inspections and actions.
