Job summary

Amteck is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. You will ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards, while maintaining reliability and safety of facility electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, infrared thermography, visual inspections, and documentation of actions.

Qualifications

• Ideally 5+ years of experience in an industrial electrical maintenance setting.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E/70B and related safety standards.
• Ability to travel frequently up to 100% and work in industrial facilities.
• Proven ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Commitment to safety, reliability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and testing on electrical systems per NFPA 70B and OEM specs.
• Conduct infrared thermography to detect faults and ensure reliability.
• Inspect and service power distribution equipment, motors, and controls.
• Document inspections, tests, actions, and recommendations accurately.
• Apply lockout/tagout and other safety procedures; participate in safety programs.
• Communicate findings with customers, supervisors and team members; support uptime.
