Job summary

Amteck is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and inspection of electrical systems in industrial environments. The role emphasizes adherence to NFPA 70B, OEM specs and NETA standards to maintain reliability, safety and uptime of facility electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities include infrared thermography, visual inspections, cleaning and servicing equipment, testing power distribution and motors, and documenting results.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in industrial electrical maintenance (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial installations.
• Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults.
• Inspect and service components, wiring, and connections for wear or damage.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, test results, and actions.
• Ensure safety by applying lockout/tagout and arc-flash procedures.
• Communicate status and recommendations to customers and team members.
