Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in Baytown, TX seeks an Electrical Engineer to perform front-end load studies, ETAP modeling, and design calculations under supervision. You will produce sketches and construction details, and ensure designs meet codes and client requirements while coordinating with drafting teams.

The ideal candidate has a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years of relevant experience, and PE registration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and application of the NEC and current codes.
• Ability to size wiring, conduits, and protection for lighting and power.
• Experience reviewing vendor drawings and instrument/electrical details.

Responsibilities

• Perform front-end electrical load studies and ETAP modeling under supervision.
• Produce design calculations, sketches, and construction details.
• Verify calculations for code compliance and constructability.
• Coordinate with drafting and design leaders to deliver complete packages.
