Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer in Houston, TX to lead a team of engineers and designers, delivering electrical and instrumentation deliverables on time and within budget. The role requires extensive electrical/instrumentation experience and strong project controls for cost, schedule and quality.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in the field, a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, and PE registration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and application of NEC and electrical codes.
• Ability to size wire, conduit and overcurrent protection for lighting and power.
• Ability to produce 15kV single line diagrams and equipment specs.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and approving electrical deliverables.
• Producing project estimates and change notices.
• Establishing design criteria per client requirements and standards.
• Planning and organizing the work of the team for schedule and budget.
• Developing conceptual designs and cost studies.
• Leading inter-discipline coordination for efficient progress.
