Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services, LLC is seeking a Craft Recruiter to source, screen, and place skilled craft professionals for industrial construction, maintenance, turnarounds, and project operations. You will partner with Project Managers and Site Leaders to understand staffing needs, develop recruiting strategies, conduct interviews, verify licenses, and keep a strong candidate pipeline.

Experience recruiting pipefitters, welders, electricians, machinists, and crane crews, plus NCCER/OSHA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in industrial construction, maintenance, energy, petrochemical, chemical, manufacturing, or staffing.
• Experience recruiting skilled trades or industrial craft personnel.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing and screening techniques.
• Excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking/recruiting systems.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review manpower requisitions.
• Develop recruiting strategies based on project needs.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and databases.
• Conduct interviews and evaluate trade qualifications.
• Verify licenses and safety certifications.
• Maintain an active candidate pipeline and communicate updates.
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements and onboarding processes.
• Coordinate with HR and onboarding personnel to ensure documentation.
• Provide regular recruiting updates to management and project leadership.
• Maintain accurate applicant information in the ATS.
