Qualifications
- Five or more years in conveyor belting, process maintenance, or heavy industrial maintenance.
- Experience with vulcanized and mechanical belt splicing is required.
- Ability to meet industrial/mining site requirements and pass screenings.
- Two years of lead/crew supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead field crews performing preventative maintenance and belt-related tasks.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment with supervision.
- Troubleshoot conveyor failures and identify root causes.
- Supervise technicians and field personnel during operations.
- Ensure safety policies, lockout/tagout, and QA/QC procedures are followed.
- Maintain documentation such as JHAs, splice reports, and daily field reports.
- Communicate progress and needs to the General Foreman or Superintendent.
- Represent the company professionally with clients on site.
