Job summary

Stellar Energy is seeking a Designer II to create visually stunning 3D and 2D graphics for control projects. You will work under a Lead Digital Designer and potentially with a Senior Digital Designer on a dynamic sub-team to bring projects to life.

You will produce designs and documentation using CAD/PLM systems, document parts and BOMs, and develop expertise in drafting standards. Travel to support products or train staff may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience using computer aided graphic solutions in lieu of degree or AA.
• Experience in SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, or ProEngineer.
• CAD, AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Produces designs and documentation utilizing computer aided graphic and product life cycle management systems.
• Documentation of parts and bills of materials
• Develop a good working knowledge and familiarity of design and drafting standard practices, methods and processes
• Work from oral engineering instructions or written procedures, schematics, drawings and sketches.
• Ability to lead small segments of large projects with responsibility for completion of assignments. Exercise sound judgment in recognition of potential design problems. Detects and corrects own errors.
• Maintains competency level of computer aided graphic system and other applications through company provided training and materials.
• Must be customer driven, innovative and quality minded in performance of all assigned duties.
• Develop and exercise good communication skills.
• Maintains awareness and adheres to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• May be required to travel to various locations to support products or train other personnel.
• Receives generalized information and instruction pertaining to assignment from engineers or senior staff. Work direction, content and accuracy reviewed by engineers or senior department members.

Education

4+ years of experience using computer aided graphic solutions in lieu of degree or Associate’s Degree (AA)
