Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a motivated CAD Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate has a CAD-focused technical certificate or an associate degree and extensive experience with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD and SolidWorks, plus strong drafting skills.

You will create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models, manage BOMs and part files, and collaborate with engineers to move ideas from prototyping to production while ensuring accuracy for sheet metal fabrication.

Qualifications

• Technical certificate or associate degree in CAD required.
• Proficient with CAD software (Inventor/AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks).
• Strong technical drawing ability and attention to detail.
• Good math, engineering understanding and sheet metal fabrication knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for production.
• Accurately represent dimensions and GD&T on drawings.
• Manage BOMs and part files efficiently.
• Collaborate with engineering to move designs from prototyping to production.
• Analyze designs for improvements and generate nesting files.
