Job summary

HITT Contracting seeks a Commercial Construction Superintendent - Industrial to lead site operations, enforce safety and quality standards, and coordinate with the project team. You’ll manage safety, schedules, and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.

The role requires 5+ years of commercial construction experience and a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business; OSHA 30 certification is preferred. This is an on-site position in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in construction, engineering or business preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience, including with a general contractor.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and administer the HITT safety program for subcontractors; report and investigate incidents.
• Maintain quality standards for all aspects of the project.
• Lead on-site safety and manage safe jobsite for all involved.
• Maintain daily activity logs and manage punch list and closeout with owner/architect acceptance.
• Collaborate with project manager to formulate and follow project schedule; ensure schedule commitments.
