Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. seeks an experienced Industrial Superintendent for a newly awarded Hurt, VA campus. You will direct site workflow, enforce safety and quality standards, and coordinate with project teams to meet timelines on a large, multi-disciplinary industrial facility.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial/industrial construction, strong leadership, and travel to site locations with per diem support. ProCore, Primavera P6, and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business preferred.
5+ years in commercial/industrial construction with a GC.
Experience leading on-site teams and coordinating multiple subs.
Proficiency with MS Office suite and scheduling tools are essential.

Responsibilities

Oversee on-site safety per HITT program and coordinate incident reporting.
Maintain quality standards across all project aspects.
Keep daily site logs, manage punch list, and drive closeout with owner/architect.
Develop and monitor project schedule with PM; ensure proper sequencing.
Build strong subcontractor relationships and manage field communications.
Document work orders and identify long-lead items; avoid change orders.
