Orbital Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Construction Coordinator & Scheduler to support Asset Integrity program execution and repair services activities for a local client in Pittsburgh, PA.

The role involves coordinating field execution of repair and construction projects, managing schedules, materials, and documentation under the Construction Manager, and ensuring safety and client expectations are met. This position suits someone with industrial construction or maintenance experience seeking

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in construction management, engineering technology, industrial technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years in industrial construction, maintenance, repair, or field coordination.
• Experience with industrial facilities (power, steel, manufacturing, petrochemical, mining).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and construction documents.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; able to coordinate contractors and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day repair and construction activities.
• Plan field activities, access requirements, scheduling, logistics, and work sequencing.
• Coordinate communication between contractors, inspectors, client personnel, and Orbital project teams.
• Track progress and report updates, issues, and schedule impacts to the Construction Manager.
• Assist with outage and shutdown activities as required.
• Support development and implementation of repair work packages.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, field reports, and closeout records.
• Ensure QA/QC documentation and field safety compliance.
