PPG is seeking an Account Manager for the Automotive Coatings segment, focusing on Western Michigan. You will manage key customers, lead pricing and contract negotiations, and drive profitable growth while coordinating with regional teams and customer sites.

The role requires strong sales, communication, and strategic planning skills, with regular travel and use of PPG programs to optimize value delivery and vehicle-related reimbursements.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of related experience in account management or sales.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
• Experience with large OEMs and/or tier suppliers and coatings technologies.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Proven communication capabilities to manage complex, dynamic situations.
• Valid driver's license, automobile insurance, personal vehicle, and MVR clearance.
• Willingness to travel regularly; location: Western Michigan.

Aufgaben

• Execute account strategies for global and regional accounts aligned with business objectives.
• Lead regional pricing discussions and contract negotiations to drive growth.
• Manage demand forecasting, monitor sales pipelines, identify growth opportunities.
• Track developments at local customer sites to support objectives and visibility.
• Identify customer opportunities, market trends, and emerging needs.
• Build strong relationships across customer organizations and gather feedback.
• Contribute to account planning, strategy development, and cross-functional discussions.
• Partner with local Optima Service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Increase adoption and sales of PPG's preferred products within accounts.
• Utilize PPG's Fixed and Variable Rate (FAVR) program to optimize vehicle-related reimbursements.
