Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dawn shift janitorial associate in Appleton, WI to maintain a clean, safe manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, CNC machine areas, waste disposal, and operating industrial cleaning equipment.

You will support maintenance and production teams while following PPE and safety protocols. Weekly pay, benefits, and 401(k) plans are offered for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial, janitorial, manufacturing, or facility cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, sweepers, and pressure washers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull between 25-50 lbs. regularly.

Responsibilities

• Clean production floors, aisles, and work areas throughout the facility.
• Remove metal shavings, sawdust, plastic debris, and other manufacturing waste from production areas.
• Clean CNC machines, machining centers, and related equipment to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Empty scrap bins, recycling containers, and trash receptacles as needed.
• Operate floor scrubbers, sweepers, pressure washers, and other industrial cleaning equipment.
• Handle, transport, and dispose of waste materials following company safety and environmental procedures.
• Clean and maintain break rooms, restrooms, offices, and other common areas.
• Assist with general shop organization and housekeeping projects.
• Support maintenance and production teams by ensuring work areas remain clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.

Job description

Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00/HR
