Job summary

The Account Specialist-Belt role at Motion Industries in Dallas focuses on selling belting products with a technical emphasis. You will develop sales strategies, identify new customers, and nurture existing relationships to grow belt-related business.

You will deliver bids and presentations, work with the Branch Manager on planning to hit product and sales goals, and manage time to prioritize high ROI opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Industry and sales experience
• Knowledge of industrial products: power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic and mill supply
• Knowledge of supply chain systems
• Reliable, organized, detailed and focused
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Good communication and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Sells directly to customers through face-to-face interactions to build relationships and satisfaction.
• Assesses customer needs and suggests appropriate belting products and solutions.
• Generates new business, cross sells, and repeat sells by identifying customers and implementing sales strategies.
• Develops and delivers bids, proposals, and presentations and conducts product demonstrations.
• Works with Branch Manager to plan activities to achieve sales goals.
• Manages time and priorities to focus on high ROI opportunities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
