Job summary

Fromm Electric Supply invites an experienced Smart Components Specialist to drive Rockwell Automation Smart Components growth across the territory. You will work closely with Account Managers, Inside and Outside Sales to identify opportunities and deploy innovative automation solutions throughout the customer lifecycle.

As the technical and commercial expert, you will deliver training, product demonstrations, and support launches, helping customers modernize and optimize operations with VFDs,

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow industrial automation solutions across the territory.
• Partner with sales teams to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for customers, Inside Sales, and Outside Sales on industrial automation products and applications.
• Provide pre-sale and post-sale technical support to ensure successful customer outcomes.
• Apply technical expertise in Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Motor Control Centers (MCCs), motor control systems, and related automation technologies.
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and hands‑on training forcustomers and sales teams.
• Collaboratewith Rockwell Automation representatives and internal specialists to develop complete customer solutions.
• Support customer modernization, lifecycle replacement, and new application opportunities involving automation technologies.
• Lead the introduction of new products and technologies through training, market development, and promotional activities.
• Support promotional campaigns, customer events, trade shows, seminars, and technology showcases.
• Maintain demonstration equipment, sales collateral, and technical resources to support sales efforts.
• Monitor market trends, identify emerging opportunities, and help expand automation solutions into new markets and applications.
• Support inventory planning and product mix recommendations to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain expertise in automation technologies and related solutions.
