Job summary

Fromm Electric Supply in Reading, PA seeks a Specialist in the Industrial Automation Group to drive growth of automation solutions across our territory. You will be a technical and commercial resource, helping customers identify and implement solutions that improve productivity and reliability.

The Specialist collaborates with Account Managers, Inside and Outside Sales, and Rockwell Automation personnel to deliver training, support product launches, and implement innovative automation solutions

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of VFDs, MCCs, motor control systems.
• Experience partnering with sales teams to close opportunities.
• Ability to deliver demos and training to customers.
• Willingness to travel for campaigns and events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow industrial automation solutions across the territory.
• Partner with sales teams to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for customers and sales on automation products and applications.
• Provide pre-sale and post-sale technical support to ensure successful customer outcomes.
• Apply technical expertise in VFDs, MCCs, motor control systems, and related technologies.

• Support customer modernization, lifecycle replacement, and new application opportunities involving automation technologies.
• Lead the introduction of new products and technologies through training and market development.

The Specialist serves as a technical and commercial resource, helping customers identify and implement solutions that improve productivity, reliability, and operational performance.

The Specialist is responsible for developing and executing business strategies that drive growth, customer adoption, and market expansion for industrial automation solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Motor Control Centers (MCCs), motor control applications, and related automation technologies. As a highly collaborative member of the Industrial Automation Group, the Specialist partners with customers, Account Managers, Inside Sales, Outside Sales, and Rockwell Automation personnel to identify opportunities, deliver training, support product launches, and implement innovative automation solutions throughout the customer lifecycle.

• Support promotional campaigns, customer events, trade shows, seminars, and technology showcases.
• Maintain demonstration equipment, sales collateral, and technical resources to support sales efforts.
• Monitor market trends, identify emerging opportunities, and help expand automation solutions into new markets and applications.
• Support inventory planning and product mix recommendations to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain expertise in automation technologies and related solutions.
