Job summary

Hadrian, building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America, seeks a curious engineer to develop software interfaces for industrial machines and to help scale our manufacturing capabilities across the US. You will work with robotics, mechanical, and controls engineers to deliver production systems from concept to operation.

You will interface with PLCs and other equipment, create operator-friendly interfaces, and log data to optimize planning and scheduling.

Qualifications

2-3 years of software engineering experience.
Proficient in Python, TypeScript, or C#.
Strong ability and desire to work directly with hardware on the factory floor.
Demonstrated ability to make decisions with incomplete information and deliver complex systems on schedule.
Willingness to travel up to 10% of the year.

Responsibilities

Develop software to interface with industrial machines, PLCs, and other manufacturing equipment.
Create human-machine interfaces that enable technicians to control and monitor automation on industrial machines.
Ensure seamless software integration of automated manufacturing systems into Hadrian factories.
Build data logging pipelines for connected devices that feed operational planning and factory scheduling.
Collaborate with robotics, engineering, and operations teams to conceptualize, deploy, and upgrade manufacturing cells.
