Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America, combining AI, software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing. We are seeking a Controls Engineer to scale machining across multiple factories in the US, collaborating with Applications Engineering, CAM Operations, Software, and Robotics to push machining boundaries.

You will focus on automation, probing, calibration, and process control, working closely with cross-functional teams to expand on-machine capabilities and drive

Qualifications

• Macro programming experience writing macros for CNC controls (Fanuc/Siemens/Heidenhain).
• Ability to run and set up CNC machines including offsets and spindle probing.
• Experience coding with software principles; Python, data structures, version control (GitHub) and testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with a variety of machines and materials; knowledge of tooling, workholding, fixture design.

Responsibilities

• Develop a universal controller interface for CNC machines to streamline operations.
• Use spindle probing to improve inspection and process control.
• Create an integrated CMM<>CNC feedback loop between measurement and control.
• Develop systems empowering operators in advanced machine control.
• Support cross-functional teams by engineering processes that expand on-machine capabilities.
