Job summary

Hadrian in the United States is seeking a Controls Engineer to execute our Machining roadmap and scale to multi-factory operations across the US. You will collaborate with Applications Engineering, CAM Operations, Software Engineering, and Robotics to push machining at scale.

You will drive hardware-software integration for CNC machines, focusing on automation, validation, calibration, and tooling optimization while enabling operators and expanding on-machine capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience writing macros for Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain.
• CNC operation experience: part setup, tool offsets, spindle probing.
• Strong software fundamentals: Python, data structures, version control, testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Broad machining knowledge across mills and lathes, materials and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop a universal controller interface across CNC platforms.
• Use spindle probing to improve inspection and process control.
• Create an integrated CNC feedback loop between measurement and control.
• Develop systems to empower operators in advanced machine control.
• Support cross-functional teams to expand on-machine capabilities.
