Job summary

Hadrian is building autonomous factories in the United States to reindustrialize manufacturing. We seek a curious, self-motivated software engineer for the Autonomous Factory Systems division to develop interfaces for industrial machines and robotics.

You will help scale Hadrian into a multi-factory company across the US, partnering with robotics, mechanical, and controls engineers to bring production systems from concept to operation.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4-6 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python, TypeScript, or C#.
• Strong ability and desire to work directly with hardware on the factory floor.
• Demonstrated ability to make decisions with incomplete information and deliver complex systems on schedule.
• Flexibility to travel up to 10% of the year as Hadrian scales across the country.

Responsibilities

• Develop software to interface with industrial machines, PLCs, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Create human-machine interfaces that enable technicians to control and monitor automation on industrial machines.
• Ensure seamless software integration of automated manufacturing systems into Hadrian factories.
• Build data logging pipelines for connected devices that feed operational planning and factory scheduling.
• Collaborate with robotics, engineering, and operations teams to conceptualize, deploy, and upgrade manufacturing cells.
