Job summary

Hadrian is expanding its Autonomous Factory Systems division and seeks an engineer to build software interfaces for mills, welders, and formers on the factory floor. The role focuses on sensing, deciding, and acting within Hadrian’s autonomous systems stack.

You will collaborate with robotics, mechanical, and controls engineers to scale Hadrian into a multi-factory company across the US.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2–3 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python, TypeScript, or C#.
• Strong ability to work directly with hardware on the factory floor.
• Demonstrated ability to make decisions with incomplete information and deliver complex systems on schedule.
• Flexibility to travel up to 10% of the year as the company scales across the country.

Responsibilities

• Develop software to interface with industrial machines, PLCs, and other equipment.
• Create human-machine interfaces for technicians to control and monitor automation.
• Ensure seamless software integration of automated manufacturing systems into Hadrian factories.
• Build data logging pipelines for connected devices feeding planning and scheduling.
• Collaborate with robotics, engineering, and operations teams to deploy and upgrade manufacturing cells.
