Job summary

Heitek Automation, a SunSource company, seeks an Inside Sales Representative to support customers and the sales team in Phoenix, AZ. You will promote industrial automation products, respond to inquiries, and prepare quotes to meet customer requirements.

As the product expert, you will build relationships, identify needs, and collaborate with the Area Sales Manager and marketing to drive new leads and upsell opportunities while staying current on market trends and competitive offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering, business or marketing.
• Solid understanding of industrial automation technologies is advantageous.
• Experience in inside sales or sales support in industrial automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate information on products, pricing, availability, and specs to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calls and emails; nurture leads into conversations.
• Develop deep product knowledge of automation, fluid power and robotics; liaise with vendors and internal teams.
