Zusammenfassung

Flow Control Group in California's San Ramon region is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to drive growth in industrial automation and control solutions. You will manage a defined territory, engage with engineers and procurement teams, and present customized control and automation offerings.

You will build relationships, demonstrate products, and collaborate with product specialists while staying current on market trends and competitive activity to meet or exceed sales targets.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of outside sales experience in industrial automation, process control, or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of valves, instrumentation, flow control, and automation products.
• Proven ability to manage a sales territory and meet/exceed quotas.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute a territory sales plan to meet or exceed assigned sales goals.
• Prospect and cultivate new customer relationships within the assigned region or vertical market.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers through regular visits, solution-based selling, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with internal product specialists and vendors to design and deliver customized control and automation solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to decision-makers and engineering teams.
• Stay up-to-date on product offerings, industry trends, and competitor activity.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities using CRM software.
• Provide input on market and customer feedback to sales leadership and product management.
