Job summary

Flow Control Group in Fallon, NV seeks an Outside Sales Representative to grow sales by building customer relationships and delivering technical automation solutions. You will identify opportunities, conduct product demonstrations, and collaborate with product specialists to tailor control systems for customers.

The role requires 3+ years in industrial automation sales, deep understanding of valves and flow control, and the ability to manage a territory and meet quotas.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales experience in industrial automation or related field.
• Strong knowledge of valves, instrumentation, flow control and automation products.
• Proven ability to manage a sales territory and meet quotas.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory sales plan to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Prospect and cultivate new customer relationships in the region or vertical.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers through visits and solution-based selling.
• Collaborate with internal product specialists to deliver customized control solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to decision-makers.
• Stay up-to-date on product offerings, industry trends, and competitor activity.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using CRM software.
• Provide feedback to sales leadership and product management.
