Job summary

Advanced Technology Services in the United States is seeking a skilled Asset Management Specialist to oversee lifecycle of industrial assets and ensure reliable performance. You will implement maintenance schedules, manage BOMs, track asset utilization with CMMS/EAM systems, and collaborate with vendors while upholding safety standards across a factory environment.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree required in a technical field with 1-3 years of industrial asset experience and/or 5 – 10 years as a machine repair technician, or equivalent combination of both.
• Familiar with industrial manufacturing environment.
• Electrical/mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency with computers, maintenance systems, and applications including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive, professional relationships.
• Experience in job plan development, job scheduling, and work execution

Responsibilities

• Identify, label, maintain, and utilize all assets.
• Implement asset management software and tools for tracking and reporting.
• Develop and oversee maintenance schedules for industrial equipment.
• Monitor asset performance and reliability; identify improvement areas.
• Maintain BOMs for assets.
• Assist budgeting for procurement, maintenance, and replacement.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for asset acquisitions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Implement safety protocols and training for asset usage.
• Review preventative maintenance plans for efficiency and productivity.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies to enhance asset performance.
• Manage relationships with equipment vendors and service providers.
• Analyze data on asset performance to inform decisions.
• Train staff on proper use and maintenance of assets and CMMS/EAM tools.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables; may include shutdowns.
• Promote energy-efficient technologies and sustainable practices.
