Job summary

Sysco seeks an experienced HVAC/R Operations Technician to oversee ammonia refrigeration and HVAC systems in a large-scale facility in Kentucky. The role requires CIRO certification, EPA certification, and a minimum four years of industrial HVAC/R experience.

You will perform preventive maintenance, monitor controls, and ensure adherence to safety standards and food-safety documentation. On-site shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm, with on-call duties; sign-on bonus applies and competitive benefits are

Qualifications

• HVAC/R experience and knowledge across ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Strong adherence to safety and regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA).
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and maintenance plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control systems related to HVAC/R equipment.
• Manage CMMS work orders and track parts and labor.
• Oversee refrigeration, electrical, and HVAC system performance and energy use.
• Coordinate with management and maintenance teams on system status.
