Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an Operations Technician to assist in overseeing the safe operation, daily monitoring, and maintenance of large-scale ammonia systems and office HVAC. You will aid Refrigeration Tech II & III and Facility Manager, ensuring assets comply with IIAR, ASHRAE, ASME, EPA, OSHA and local codes.

CIRO certification and universal EPA are required, with 4+ years of HVAC/R service experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; HVAC/R tech school preferred.
• Four years of industrial HVAC/R experience or equivalent; RETA CIRO certification and universal EPA required.
• Must possess valid driver's license; RETA CIRO certification within 6 months; OSHA and other certifications listed.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance of refrigeration storage equipment 50 HP to 3,000 HP.
• Troubleshoot ammonia central systems, controls, and alarms; electrical troubleshooting.
• Oversee and manage HVAC/R/Electrical systems; monitor and report equipment condition.
