Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an Operations HVAC/R professional to oversee the safe operation, monitoring, and maintenance of large-scale ammonia and HVAC/R systems. You will support Refrigeration Techs and the Facility Manager to ensure assets comply with IIAR, ASHRAE, ASME, EPA, OSHA, and local codes.

The role requires HVAC/R schooling, CIRO/EP A, and at least four years of related experience. It involves inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting across refrigeration,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; HVAC/R tech school preferred.
• Four years of industrial HVAC/R experience or equivalent.
• Preferred experience with anhydrous ammonia (R717).

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance of refrigeration equipment (50 HP to 3,000 HP).
• Troubleshoot ammonia central systems, electrical and control systems.
• Oversee HVAC/R systems including monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairs.
