Job summary

Sysco Hawaii is hiring for an Operations role focused on the safe operation, monitoring, and maintenance of large-scale ammonia refrigeration and HVAC systems. You will support Refrigeration Techs and the Facility Manager to ensure systems comply with IIAR, ASHRAE, ASME, EPA, OSHA, and local codes.

The ideal candidate has HVAC/R schooling, CIRO certification, EPA certification, and at least four years of HVAC/R service experience.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R schooling and CIRO certification required.
• Universal EPA certification required.
• At least four years' experience with service/maintenance of HVAC/R.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, schematics, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain Refrigeration, Electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on ammonia cooling equipment.
• Log work orders and PMs in CMMS daily.
• Troubleshoot compressors, condensers, and control systems.
