Job summary
Sysco Foods is seeking an Operations professional to oversee the safe operation, daily monitoring, and maintenance of large-scale ammonia systems and office HVAC. The role requires HVAC/R schooling, RETA CIRO certification, universal EPA credentials, and at least four years of service/maintenance experience.
You will support Refrigeration Tech II & III and Facility Manager to ensure assets comply with IIAR, ASHRAE, ASME, EPA, OSHA, and local codes, performing inspections, preventive maintenance,
Qualifications
- HVAC/R schooling required; RETA CIRO certification and universal EPA preferred.
- At least four years of service/maintenance experience in HVAC/R.
- Ability to read plans/specs and adhere to codes (IIAR/ASHRAE/ASME/EPA/OSHA).
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on refrigeration systems from 50 HP to 3,000 HP.
- Troubleshoot ammonia central systems and control/alarm systems.
- Monitor and maintain HVAC/R systems, electrical and related equipment.
- Log work orders, PMs, and parts in CMMS daily.
- Ensure product integrity through temperature monitoring and control.
