Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors and related components at customer sites. You will diagnose issues, provide technical guidance, and submit detailed reports and timekeeping with accuracy.

Applicants should have 2–5 years in industrial/mechanical systems troubleshooting, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to travel. EPA/F-GAS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of troubleshooting industrial mechanical systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• EPA 608 /F-GAS 303/2008/CE/ISHRAE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain air compressors and components at customer sites.
• Provide technical advice and train customers and field staff.
• Submit detailed technical reports and maintain expense/time records.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of installation and repair requirements.
