Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain rotary screw, reciprocating, Centac and ECC air compressors and related components at customer sites. You will diagnose issues with precision tools and reference operation manuals for all equipment.

The role requires 2-5 years of experience in industrial systems, a valid driver's license, and comfort with travel to customer sites in the Greensboro, NC area. EPA/F-GAS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
• Experience with compressed air systems/centrifugal technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of service, diagnosis and startup of rotary and centrifugal air compressors is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment at customer locations.
• Stay current with field installation and repair requirements.
• Provide technical training and advice to customers and field staff.
• Diagnose problems, propose corrective actions, and submit reports.
• Maintain clear communication and proper documentation for billing and records.
• Manage time and expenses with attention to financial accuracy.
