Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician for the East Area to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors and ancillary components at customer sites in the Manassas area. You will diagnose issues using precision tools and reference equipment manuals.

Applicants should have 2–5 years of experience with industrial/commercial mechanical systems, a high school diploma, and the ability to travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC/Electrical knowledge with basic circuits, motors/controls, PLCs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose problems and provide corrective action.
• Train customers and field personnel on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Submit detailed reports and keep accurate expense and time records.
