Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors and related components at customer sites in the Staunton/Lynchburg/Roanoke, VA area. The role requires using precision tools, performing diagnostic troubleshooting, and training customers and field staff.

A minimum of 2 years' experience with industrial mechanical systems and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all makes of rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors and related components.
• Use precision measuring tools for diagnostic troubleshooting of compressed air equipment.
• Provide technical advice and training to customers and field personnel.
• Submit detailed technical reports and timekeeping records in a timely and legible fashion.
• Maintain a high degree of integrity in handling business affairs.
