Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in customer service or sales.
• Experience with order processing, shipping and billing preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and measurements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, processes and coordinates orders, requests for quotation, returns, and credits per company policies.
• Responds thoroughly and timely to inquiries via phone, email, or directly to customers.
• Works with sales, credit, inventory control, warehousing, fabrication shop and other departments to meet customer needs.
• Minimizes shipments and expenses to meet delivery requirements.
• Follows up with customers to keep them informed of order status.
• Cultivates and maintains relationships with customers and suppliers regarding service.
• Completes training curriculum and demonstrates competence as defined by management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
