Job summary

ZS Associates seeks a Sourcing Manager, Indirect Procurement to drive end-to-end category strategies across HR, IT, Marketing, Legal and Professional Services. You will lead RFx events, negotiate MSAs/SOWs, and deliver total value while embedding sustainability and risk controls.

You will work with budget owners and senior stakeholders in a hybrid model, traveling as needed to support client engagements and regional initiatives.

Qualifications

• S. / B.A. degree in Business or a related field; CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent certification preferred.
• 7-9+ years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience across indirect categories.
• Demonstrated success delivering quantifiable value beyond price, including savings and innovation.
• Experience in a professional services or life sciences environment preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of sourcing processes and technology, including Source-to-Pay and CLM tools.
• RFx management, supplier negotiations, MSA/SOW contract writing, category strategy development, value strategy formulation.
• Strong communication skills to influence senior stakeholders in a global, matrix organization.
• Project management skills to lead cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English; client-first mentality; intense work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain category profiles, sourcing pipelines, and category strategies for HR, IT, Marketing, Legal, and Professional Services.
• Execute end-to-end sourcing events including RFx management, bid analysis, and supplier evaluation.
• Lead negotiations and renewals by securing favorable terms and protections.
• Incorporate total cost/value modeling and market intelligence into sourcing decisions.
• Embed responsible sourcing and sustainability criteria into category strategies.
• Define and report total value delivered, including hard savings and risk reductions.
• Lead cross-functional sourcing project teams across regions and business units.
• Act as procurement partner to budget owners and senior stakeholders.
• Guide discussions on requirements, supplier strategy, and scopes of work.
• Translate plans into an indirect sourcing pipeline to influence large buying decisions.
• Drive change management and promote best practices across the function.
