SimpliSafe is seeking a Senior Manager, Indirect Sourcing & Procurement to lead strategy and execution across marketing, technology, HR, and operations. This highly visible role partners with senior stakeholders to shape category plans and drive value while maintaining a lean, cross-functional sourcing practice.

You will move across diverse categories, lead end-to-end RFx processes, and champion best practices with a data-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of strategic sourcing experience as a generalist across multiple indirect categories (marketing, technology, professional services, HR, operations).
• Proven ability to build relationships at all organizational levels, including C-suite partners.
• Demonstrated expertise negotiating complex commercial agreements across varied category types (SaaS, media, agencies, BPO, professional services, analytics, or similar).
• Comfortable moving across categories and context-switching with a generalist mindset.
• Meticulous detail with ability to turn analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Exceptional communication, executive-level presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong change management skills; influence without authority and navigate ambiguity.
• Effective project manager; own and deliver initiatives end-to-end with minimal supervision.
• Financial and analytical acumen to analyze spend categories, evaluate investments, model scenarios, and articulate trade-offs to senior stakeholders.
• MBA or relevant master's degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own sourcing strategy and execution across broad portfolio of indirect categories including marketing, technology, professional services, HR, and operations (real estate out of scope).
• Build deep partnerships with stakeholders across the business and align sourcing with priorities and broader goals.
• Create, prioritize, and execute category strategies and procurement project pipelines with focus on value, speed, innovation, and risk mitigation.
• Serve as the team's go-to generalist across categories and know when to loop in specialist input.
• Lead RFx processes end-to-end, present negotiation outcomes, build business cases, and influence budget owners and senior leadership with data-driven recommendations.
• Champion strategic procurement across the organization and drive adoption of best practices through influence.
• Collaborate to streamline workflows, improve spend visibility, and strengthen cross-functional execution.
• Flex quickly across categories as business priorities shift.
