Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks an Advisor, Strategic Sourcing (Indirect) to lead end-to-end sourcing for indirect categories and develop partnerships with business stakeholders. You will drive competitive bidding, negotiations and contract outcomes that maximize value and minimize risk.

The role requires 3+ years in strategic sourcing with category management, supplier management and strong communication skills. SAP/SAP Ariba knowledge is a plus, and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, economics or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management and negotiation preferred.
• Effective communication with all levels of the organization and external partners.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze spend data.

Responsibilities

• Category Sourcing Lead for assigned indirect categories (e.g., EHS, Energy, Facilities).
• Support key stakeholders as the primary indirect sourcing partner.
• Source indirect goods and services in collaboration with suppliers.
• Initiate, negotiate and finalize new indirect supplier contracts and maintain existing ones.
• Manage RFP events and ensure purchasing discipline and compliance.
