Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Advisor, Strategic Sourcing to drive end-to-end sourcing for indirect categories. You will develop supplier relationships, run competitive bids, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance.

Collaboration with stakeholders and legal teams is essential to optimize value and mitigate risk. The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with SAP/SAP Ariba, and the ability to manage complex projects across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of indirect strategic sourcing experience, category management, supplier management, and negotiation.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills across levels.
• Demonstrates strong financial acumen and business insight.

Responsibilities

• Lead category sourcing for assigned indirect categories (EHS, Energy, Facilities) as applicable.
• Partner with stakeholders to source indirect goods and services.
• Negotiate, finalize new supplier contracts and maintain existing agreements.
• Manage RFP events within indirect categories and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with legal/compliance for favorable terms.
