Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Advisor, Strategic Sourcing Indirect to lead end-to-end sourcing for indirect categories. You will develop supplier relationships, manage negotiations and contracts, and drive cost optimization while partnering with business stakeholders across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management and negotiation.
• Effective communication in English and presentation skills.
• Demonstrates a strong financial acumen.
• Strong project and process management skills.
• Well versed in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of SAP and SAP Ariba is a plus.
• Working knowledge of the industry and market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Category Sourcing Lead for the assigned indirect categories that may include Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Energy and Facilities.
• Primary Souring business partner support for key stakeholders within assigned indirect categories.
• Work closely with indirect suppliers to source indirect goods and services.
• Initiate, negotiate and finalize new indirect supplier contracts and maintain existing contracts.
• Manage Request for Proposal (RFP) events within assigned indirect categories.
• Drive purchasing discipline and compliance with internal stakeholders.
• Review and approve BuyNow purchase requests and new supplier setups within assigned categories.
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure favorable contract and purchasing terms.
