Job summary

Stryker seeks a Manager, Indirect Procurement (Hybrid) to lead sourcing for the Orthopaedics Group across the U.S. and Canada, focusing on Trauma & Extremities and Joint Replacement.

You will manage negotiations, drive cost savings, and align with business leaders to implement effective sourcing strategies. The role requires a bachelor's in a related field and 8+ years in contracting, with strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant area.
• 8+ years of developing, negotiating, and implementing commercial contracts.
• Experience providing collaborative support across multiple management levels.
• Training in financial/strategic analysis, negotiation, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier negotiations and contract development to deliver value and manage risk.
• Drive end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including RFx strategy, supplier evaluation, selection, and implementation.
• Partner with business and functional leaders to understand needs and identify procurement solutions.
• Analyze spend data, market trends, and supplier capabilities to uncover cost savings and process improvements.
• Develop and execute spend management strategies that maximize value and leverage purchasing power.
• Build and manage key supplier relationships with regular business reviews.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify innovative solutions that improve efficiency.
• Serve as a trusted procurement partner aligning sourcing with divisional priorities.
