Stryker is seeking an Associate Manager, Sustaining Sourcing in Portage, MI. This hybrid role focuses on developing and executing sustaining sourcing strategies to improve cost, quality, service, and supply continuity.

You will lead supplier selection, negotiations, and performance management across cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates have 6+ years in strategic sourcing, experience with regulated industries, and strong analytical and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supplier management.
• Experience in regulated environments with ISO 13485, FDA QSR, or ISO 9001 is preferred.
• Supplier performance management experience.
• Master's degree and/or professional certifications (APICS, ISM, CSCMP, PMP) are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute commodity and sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead supplier selection, supply base optimization, and spend analysis initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships with scorecards and business reviews.
• Negotiate and manage supplier agreements to optimize cost, quality, and service.
• Conduct cost analyses, benchmarking, and make-versus-buy evaluations.
• Identify and implement cost reduction and value-improvement initiatives.
• Monitor market conditions and emerging technologies to inform sourcing strategies.
• Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, finance, and product development to align sourcing with business needs.
• Demonstrated success in negotiations, cost reduction, risk mitigation, and supplier performance management.
• Strong analytical, project management, and influencing skills.
