Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required in supply management, business, finance, engineering or related field.
• 10 years in supply management with focus on strategic sourcing and supplier development; preferably in medical devices or other highly regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of supplier processes and supply chain risk factors including experience in assessing and mitigating risk in the supply base.
• Strong negotiations skills negotiating and implementing commercial contracts to include supply and quality agreements (QAA).
• Strong, working knowledge and application of supplier contract strategy, negotiations, contractual terms, and contract administration.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies & cost reduction methodologies.
• Experience with supplier metrics & measurement methodologies and supporting systems.
• Project Management knowledge and experience
• Travel: 10-30%

Responsabilidades

• Lead sourcing analysis and selection process and perform cost analyses and make vs buy analyses as required.
• Advise others on selection/cost analysis.
• Lead development of contract strategy.
• Negotiate, establish, monitor, and enforce supplier contracts and agreements.
• Develop strong partnership relationships with key suppliers and other disciplines within the businesses.
• Partner and develop relationships with senior executive leadership at strategic suppliers.
• Identify supply base risk and develop/implement mitigation plans.
• Obtain and communicate market condition information and technology trends related to commodities and suppliers.
• Collaborate across functions, divisions, and campuses to develop sourcing strategies and supplier scorecards.
• Organize and lead scorecard review meetings and business reviews.
