Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking an experienced Indirect Inventory Manager for our Sparks, NV site. You will lead the Indirect Inventory Team, manage inventories of maintenance parts and consumables, and ensure stock for scheduled maintenance and production runs.

The role requires 5+ years in material handling and logistics, strong data analysis, and ERP/CMMS expertise, with a focus on reducing part shortages and improving forecasting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environment leading Material Handling and Logistics operations.
• Must have 5+ years’ experience in parts ordering, storing, and inventory control positions.
• Able to summarize reports and present data to executive management.
• Be able to analyze failure modes and recommend preventive actions.
• Must have high level of organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Indirect Inventory Team including Exempt and Nonexempt direct reports.
• Fully manage the full lifecycle of exempt and nonexempt employees including reviews and development.
• Manage inventories of all maintenance repair parts and manufacturing consumables.
• Develop enablers to avoid reactive part shortages and improve forecasting.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Planning and production supervisors to stock parts for scheduled maintenance actions and production runs.
• Create purchase order requisitions and place orders with vendors after approvals.
• Utilize CMMS/ERP to ensure efficient flow of storeroom and parts.
• Track and report key supply metrics and root-cause issues.
